A foundation course at Gloucester College of Art and Design led to studies in Fashion and Textiles at Ravensbourne College of Art and Design.

A spell of travel abroad was followed by work in interior design and producing paintings for pubs and wine bars. In 1982 she started her own print business. Since 2000, Caroline has been teaching watercolour and silk painting for adults in Bristol and has tutored painting holidays in Cornwall and Spain.

Caroline has had numerous exhibitions, most recently at Stow on the Wold in Gloucestershire.
