Mike is a full time artist, having had varied careers in graphic design, the armed forces and teaching art.

He trained at Ravensbourne College of Art in Graphic Design. For the past sixteen years he has run a variety of adult classes in Kent and, currently, Devon where he teaches from his large, well equipped studio. Since retiring from school teaching, he spends significantly more time on his own work. His paintings are exhibited regularly in London, Kent, Devon and Ireland.

Mike has taught in France, Italy, Spain, Holland and Ireland, and recently returned from taking a successful painting trip to Venice. We are delighted that Mike will be joining us at Shades of France, for a fourth successive year.
